Under this policy, they made it a rule to deny the other history schoolbooks except the one which was made by the government.

This is true to Korea, since Korea was daughter nation of China. So it denies Japan in annexation period, and justifies the current government. For example, During the period Japan invested much. Economical developments and economical gap issues arose. Today issues are written in text but developments are not.

The key to solve the historical issue lies in the authentic view of history. If Japan have a positive view about The war, it becomes sever aggression to their legitimacy. This it the true nature of historical issues.

★Korean problems on Confucian

Korea think of Japan as younger brother country.
This is an idea of Confucian

China is the father and Korea is a older brother and Japan is a younger brother.

★ Japanese annexation

Although Japan has signed the annexation treaty with Korea in accordance with international law, Korea want and suggested the annexation in the first place.
Korea denies it now, though.

Korea was poor at the time.
There were no school , no police station, and its average life expectancy was in the late twenties.
On the other hand Japan was stronger than Qing dynasty or Mongolia.
Since it was legal to colonize, if Japan wanted to do so, it could.

But Japan signed the treaty in the form of formal agreement. The Korean Emperor and Korean Parliament agreed with it officially. Powerful countries at that time also agreed.

Japan treated Korean as usual equivalent people, though they were treated as natives from European countries. No other country in the world has done such peaceful and legitimate annexation. Though Russia and China also wanted to occupy Korea, even the superpower countries can’t protest it because it was too legitimate.

After then, Japan had developed Korea very much with Japanese own resources and technology.
Korea at that time was Japan. The term皇民化, Japanization of Korean is good example. Since Korean could become Japanese in that law, Korean can act as Japanese. The Japanese government did it for Korean because they were segregated bit in Japan because of their savageness. It was quite good law, though today’s Korean government denies it.

A Korean government envoy, 李成玉 described at that time;

Korea today can’t keep us as a nation. We will go to ruin. If we are to escape the ruin, we have to be annexed. And the sovereign is Japan. European think of us like dogs or cats but Japan does not.
Japan orders us to obey its morality, which I don’t like. But this is because Japanese take us as equal as themselves. Only Japanese can develop us. There is no way for us to escape our poverty.

They will not admit it but this is true.

“自分達側から併合を希望したこと”を認めてしまうと「当時の朝鮮が
世界で最も貧しく弱かったという恥ずかしい過去を認めることになる」ため、
『日本が朝鮮の親日内閣に強要して我が民族の国権を強奪した』という
ウソを教科書に書いて国民を欺き、そして国民の９割を信じさせている。

大胆な嘘には日本人も弱い。うっかり飲まれてしまう。

だが、「朝鮮が昔日本と一緒にアメリカや中国と戦争したこと」など
誰にも否定できるはずもない史実である。

そして日韓併合条約にはこのようにある。

Article 1. His Majesty the Emperor of Korea makes the complete and permanent cession to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan of all rights of sovereignty over the whole of Korea.

In short, Korea offered and Japan accepted formally.
Korea even insists that the treaty itself is invalid.

　★Japan as scapegoat

Korea have done a lot of cowardly behaviors, violations of international law.
However, they don’t want to admit it, so they decided to blame Japan as scapegoat and justify themselves, put all the blame on Japan.

For them, if Japan is not bad, it causes troubles.
So they decided to teach that Japan is bad.
It is inevitable for them.

For example,

• Though Korea wanted to be annexed because of miserable position in international relations, they claim that Japan forced the annexation by forces.

•Though Japan bought products of Korea in high prices, they claim that Japan robbed Korea of them.

• Though the civil war before annexation occurred because Korea had not paid the salary of soldiers since Korean princess had wasted money on luxury, they claim that it was caused by Japanese campaign.

•Though antiforeigner group in Korea slaughtered Japanese without reason, they claim that the group was angered by Japanese.

•Though Japan defended Korea from Russia’s southward advance, they claim that Japan attacked Russia in the price of Korea.

•Though Korea illegally insisted Japanese failure in 1907 at Hague and got blame from countries, they claim that Japan nobbled the countries and made them do it.

•Though Japan told Korea that Korea should declare hostilities against Japan if it wanted to be freed by Japan when the event in Hague occurred, they claim that Japan interfered Korea.

・Though Japan modernized Korea and increased its population to twice, they claim that Japan exploited Korea and did not modernize and killed many.

Such nonsense descriptions are written in textbook majestically with no description of these writer.

Is it really written by scholars?

For example, please see below.

It’s about the “Change and Creation of name(創氏改名)”, which Korea claims evil.

“Creation” means creating the family name and “Change” means renaming one’s family name to it. It was done as a part of Japanese management of The Family Register.

Korea claims that Japan robbed Korean of name, but it is not true. Korea wanted it and Japan allowed it as well.

Let me explain a bit more.

At first it was forbidden for Koreans to use Japanese name as usual. But since using Japanese name was useful for Koreans so they came to hope for it.
And they began using it arbitrarily, so the registration also began to be confused.

Thus Japanese government allowed them to change and create their Japanese name as special cases.

At that time, most of Koreans didn’t have even their own family name. But because of it, they all could have it.

And this is the leaflet.

So “Change and Creation of name” is not obligation but right.

They could choose the option that they did not taking it.

I’ll explain more about 4.

At that time most of Korean didn’t have family name, because even Korean name金or朴 were also the clan name. And the register can register three names, family name, clan name and first name. So they could get another name besides the old ones. No doubt it was good for them.

So a Korean said;

■李光洙(Lee Gu~wansu)
Through thinking about me and my descendants, I decided to create my name. It will be good for us……. Now we can become Japanese. It is natural for us to have Japanese name …… As a Japanese it will be far useful to have Japanese name.

On the other hand People in Taiwan could not get Japanese name as right because Taiwan was not annexed but colonized. So they were not Japanese. They needed allowances to do it.

So a man from Taiwan said;

Korean can create his name naturally. It seems privilege for me.

Much more, Japan gave all of them the register. Also they taught Korean their characters Hungul at school, which had been despised byKorean themselves before, and cultivated Korean people. Amazing!

Thanks to Japan Korea developed much. Though Korea blame Japan for seven-exploitation, it can be said as seven-blessing in an evenhanded fashion.

Don’t get suckered!

The reason why South Korea has the anti-Japanese feeling is summarized as follow;

★Korea want to conceal its miserable history.

It had been daughter nation of China, and became independent with the aid of the Japan.

★Korea used anti-Japan sentiment as means to justify itself, against its people and the North.

★In order to back up it, Korea had to conceal damaging evidence. And Korea conduct anti-Japan education.

★Japan is a very convenient country fortunately

Japan does not complain. What’s more Japan is rich, so it gives money, technology etc.

You may think that all Korea must not do so.

Yes, not all Korea hate Japan.

But remember the fact that the government itself is anti-Japan.
So it is natural for Korean to hate Japan, and it is not natural to like Japan.

So another question arises.

Why can Korea keep anti-Japan?
